Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

1. What Enpixelment Is

Enpixelment Stock is a shop for parametric visual templates. You pick one, customize it in your browser, and order it as a finished, rendered file. The rendering happens on our servers; you download the result.

These terms cover Enpixelment Stock — what is available to buy today. The Enpixelment editor and the ability for creators to publish their own effects are not open to the public yet. When they are, these terms will be updated before they are.

2. Who Can Use It

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. Browsing, Previews and Watermarks

Browsing the catalogue and customizing a template cost nothing and require no account. The preview you see while customizing carries a watermark. The file you order does not — that is what you are paying for.

4. Credits and Payment

Orders on Stock are paid with credits held in your account. The price of a render is shown before you order and depends on what you asked for — format, resolution, and duration. Credits are deducted when the order is placed.

If a render fails on our side, the credits for it are returned to your account automatically. You do not need to ask.

5. What You Buy: The Rendered File

You are buying the file we produce for you — the specific render, at the format and resolution you ordered. You are not buying the template, the effect, or the recipe behind it, and ordering one render does not entitle you to others made from the same template.

This has one practical consequence worth stating plainly: a different resolution, format, or duration is a new order. If you order a background at one size and later want it larger, that is a new render and it is priced as one.

6. Your License

Every file you order comes with a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license. Royalty-free means you pay once and there are no further fees for using it — it does not mean the file is free of rights. What that license covers:

You may:

  • use the file in commercial work, with no limit on how many times;
  • use it in work you produce for clients, and hand them the finished work containing it;
  • modify it, crop it, composite it, and build it into something larger.

You may not:

  • redistribute, resell, or give away the file on its own, as a file — including in an asset pack, a stock library, or any collection whose purpose is to distribute assets;
  • include it in a template, theme, or product that is itself sold to multiple buyers, unless you hold an extended license for that file;
  • claim it as your own original work, or register it as a trademark.

The line between the two lists is simple: you may use the file in a work; you may not sell the file as a file.

Extended licenses, for use in products sold to multiple buyers, are not yet available for purchase. Until they are, that use is not covered.

7. Rendered Files and How Long We Keep Them

Every render you order is produced for you and stored so you can download it. We keep the finished file available for 90 days from the moment you place the order.

Your order itself — what you bought, when, and the exact recipe it was made from — is kept indefinitely, so a purchase never disappears from your account history even after the file has been removed. Download the file within that window and it is yours to keep under the license above.

8. Creator Content

Not open yet. Publishing your own effects to Stock is not available to the public at this time; everything in the catalogue today is ours. This section describes how it will work when it opens, and is here so the intent is on the record — it grants us nothing until you actually publish something.

If you publish an effect to Stock, you retain full ownership of your code. By publishing, you grant Enpixelment a license to run your effect within the platform's render engine, display previews, and deliver renders made from it to buyers. You may unpublish your effect at any time; licenses already granted to buyers for files they have ordered remain in force.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not: attempt to reverse-engineer or extract Stock effects; bypass the watermark or the payment system; publish effects containing malicious code; use the platform for illegal purposes; or impersonate other users or creators.

10. Intellectual Property

The Enpixelment engine, render pipeline, UI, and infrastructure are proprietary. Stock effects belong to their creators. Templates belong to their composers. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of it — what you receive is the license in section 6.

11. Limitation of Liability

Enpixelment is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with all hardware. Where a render fails on our side, our responsibility is to return the credits for it, as described in section 4.

12. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Published effects are removed from Stock upon account deletion; licenses for files already ordered by buyers remain in force.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform. The license that applies to a file is the one in force when you ordered it.
